At The Sharon Lawrence Academy of Dance, we teach your children the joys of dance, offering quality training from the age of 2.5 years old, for beginner, intermediate and advanced levels and in all genres.
For over 30 years, our teachers have instructed countless children from the Hampton area in our dance classes. Whether your child is interested in training professionally for a future career in the industry, wanting to learn the benefits of team work while dancing with a range of age groups in our dance lessons, compete in solo work or to learn for fun and fitness, you’ll find the dance lessons to suit your needs at our studio, just a short drive from Hampton.
Our range of dance classes
As well as teaching your children a variety of different genres and styles at all levels, our dance school also gives students the opportunity to compete at a range of local and overseas competitions and Eisteddfods. Additionally we offer the chance to perform in our annual showcase, sit examinations for classical ballet and to appear in an annual musical theatre studio display.

Each year, our students are also given the opportunity, if they wish, to travel in small groups to New York with the Principal, Sharon Lawrence, for a 10 day intensive tour of classes, and to see some Broadway shows. Some of our past students have also continued on to dance in professional shows such as Annie, Matilda, Aladdin, Wicked, Rock of Ages, Mary Poppins, The Boy from Oz, School of Rock, Frozen and many more.
